Splish Splash Dash!

Everyone knows what a Slip-N-Slide is, right? Well, those are cute and all...but when it comes to FUN, my neighbor had to step it up a notch! Ya see, one day last summer we were playing with a traditional slip-n-slide, and the kids were having a blast, but he saw it and the wheels in his head started turning. Why not use his hill beside his house, on the lake, and make an even grander ride? So he headed to Home Depot, and a half a day later, he was ready.

And yes, they all loved it. Unfortunately, the ride was sooooo fast, a friend who was visiting broke an ankle when they hit the lake, going way too fast. So this neighbor, (who is also a cop) only intending to break speed limits, records, but not bones, put his big-boy toy away.

Until THIS summer, that is! He decided to make it again, only it would not go all the way into the lake. So the famous and enormously popular ride was born again. And we all had a BLAST giving it its second debut!!!!!!!!

What an AMAZING slip n slide. You know the real slip n slide has a weight limit of like 115, I've wished so many times to try it, you guys were so lucky to have that super slip n slide!
I've been to your blog before but didn't comment, but I wanted to say, not only do I really enjoy your blog, but I LOVED your post about the hunt for Ruthie!! We love AG dolls too and Ruthie is the one my DD wants next. I'll have to keep that treasure hunt idea in mind! :-)
