The other day I wandered outside to check on the girls, and found them utterly engrossed in building projects on the edge of the lawn. "Come look at our fairy houses!" they shouted eagerly.

It was so neat! They had carefully built the most fragile little worlds, complete with bridges, cobblestone roads, moss covered roofs, and tiny fences. If I were a fairy or a gnome, I would have moved right on in.

Oops, demolition crew....keep away!

My 8-year-old has fairy radar . . . her eagle eyes noticed your pictures from across the room! She spent a lot of her summer building a Barbie town out in her little playhouse, so this is her kind of fun!
That is so cool!
I miss childhood..sigh
They are having the best childhood ever! So many good memories for them to keep.
I lived in the Adirondack Mountains when I was about P's age. I had all sorts of little building projects like that! I used to pretend the back yard was a huge amusement park.
*drools over country life*
