This is what I woke up to on Sunday morning, before it was light out.
A mama, and twin calves. Making my dogs bark, leaving surprises to step on, eating my favorite trees, and making us not want to go outside for fear of being stomped to death.
Darn those LUMPS ON THE LAWN!

I was wondering the same if they were moose, or reindeer!?! What a neat surprise, except for the treats they left behind! :-) It looks like it has snowed twice in your community already...is it true that in Alaska there are months where the sun shines for most of the day and then months were it is dark? Also, do you see the "northern lights?" What an awesome to state to live in!!!!
Yes, they are MOOSE. Sorry, didn't I mention that? LOL.
I actually really like moose, but they spend so much time at our house, they are rather a pesty presence. I'm glad for her cute healthy twins, though!
Wow...how beautiful. SO much snow already! I bet it can be pesky to have those moose there all the time. But they are so pretty...
