Frozen Kisses
This picture is from last winter, but it was a fun memory so I am sharing it here. Chena and I went outside all bundled up, and just played with the horses. We love to play tag with them, especially after a heavy new snow. The powder just flies as Summer and Whisper dash through the drifts! We chase them, then turn around and RUN while they chase us!
After we were totally worn out, we just sat together and talked for awhile. I just adore that girl. I could not resist a few frozen kisses on that sweet cheek!

Just beautiful!!! I loved the gorgeous photo and the awesome picture you described of chasing the horses through the snow! It sounds just perfect!
It is unseasonabley warm now in Colorado, and we are so anxious for snow! Your post makes me itch for it even more!

Fabulous! You're always giving me good ideas for my scrapping. I've got to figure out how to use text over my photos, because that looks great.
Kim, its easy to do this affect on a photo! Using Photoshop, open your original pic. Then make a duplicate layer, and change it to black and white. After that, you change your cursor to an eraser, and "erase" the black and white in selected areas (I did her hat, my coat, etc) to expose the color. I used this technique in the wedding photo too, and did my flowers.
Its addicting and fun!
