Michael is headed out to fly across the inlet and do some hunting. Its a gorgeous day for flying. I love this time of year, because it gets dark so early, I know he will always be home in time for dinner.
He is on skis so he can land on any lake or cleared area.

Awww!!! How fun.
That is amazing to me that you guys have a plane. However, I'd be scared to death to fly in it, or have DH fly.
I know what you mean about husbands getting home earlier when it gets dark so soon - my DH loves to geocache and in the summer he could be out 'till 9-9:30 - nowadays he's not able to be out past 5! Yeah, it's great! :-)
Hope your DH's hunting trip is successful and gets home safe!
